Global process development in the automotive industry
The company was introducing a new PLM system globally within the organisation. Prové’s team of consultants were part of the programme management and were responsible for process development. The assignment began with an analysis and impact assessment of introducing a new system, and a general assessment of the process areas affected. Prové led the work of developing and describing the new global processes that would be in place when the new solution was introduced.
The processes involved formulating process descriptions with role specifications, steering and supporting documents, as well as achieving buy-in for all the new processes and having them approved by global process owners.
