Organisational development at the unit level
The unit wanted to develop its organisation so as to become more efficient and customer-focused. Prové led the change process by developing a new organisational structure. The assignment began with an operational analysis and an assessment of the existing organisation. The analysis results became the basis for designing a number of scenario components. In work meetings with representatives from the unit, these were then prioritised and combined into different potential solutions for the unit’s future organisation.
The unit’s management group served as a steering committee for the change project, which based on the results of the assignment then decided on the best organisational solution to implement. In a significant shift, the organisation moved from being geographically based to process based.
